Prolong your Windows XP existence

Some people are still running Microsoft Windows XP. Apparently if you change a registry entry to say that your PC is a POS(Point-of-sale) system it will provide some more updates.

Here is the registry edit you need:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMWPAPosReady]
“Installed”=dword:00000001

Just save that in a text file as something.reg and then run it. Check for update and you should get some.
