If you have not heard of Google Voice yet, it’s a service that you can sign up for from Google where they give you a phone number that will forward to your other numbers. This is nice for when you want to run a small business but do not want to give out your personal number.
Now there is the OBi200 from obitalk.com that will convert your old-school phone to a VOIP phone using Google Voice service. Just log in to the device with the Google account that has the GV service, plug in your phone to the RJ-11 port and your network to the RJ-45 port. Alternatively, they have USB wireless options if you don’t have access to hardwire your unit to the internet.
